The fourth-generation Honda CR-V (2012-2016) has two fuse boxes – one is the interior box located above the driver’s feet, and the other one is the engine-compartment fuse box found near the battery.
You should check and replace the fuses if one of the electrical components in your CR-V suddenly stops working. A blown fuse will lead to the inability to use a certain piece of electric equipment in your car.

Please remember that the fourth-generation CR-V had a very serious facelift in 2015 and the pictures may differ a little for the pre-facelift and post-facelift vehicles.
Interior fuse box
So, to find the interior fuse box, you will need to dive under the front panel. It’s located above the pedals, look left. If you sit in the driver’s seat, the fuse box is located right above your left foot.
Also, you will have a sticker under the steering column and it will show you the location of the fuses in this fuse box. In order you don’t have the sticker anymore, I will still provide you with the fuse map below.

Here’s what driver’s manual says about the fuses in this box:
Engine-compartment fuse box
This one is hidden under the black plastic lid. There are clamps you will need to unfasten but it’s pretty intuitive and most likely won’t cause any problems.
So, once you take off the plastic lid of the fuse box, you will see the fuses. The map for these fuses is given on the other side of the lid.
Also, I will give you the outline from the driver’s manual so that you can easily locate the needed fuse or relay:
Where’s the fuse puller?
Honda thought about you when making your CR-V, so they placed the fuse puller and also several spare fuses under the lid of the engine-compartment fuse box. It’s very easy to find – just look under the box.
If you don’t see a fuse puller there, there is a huge chance that it was removed by someone and then they forget to put it back.
You can get a fuse puller for something like $1 in any car parts store or borrow it from any other car owner. Fuse pullers are the same in almost any vehicle.
Checking the fuses in your CR-V
Please remember that combined fuses or multi-fuses should only be checked visually. It’s hard to verify that they are OK by a multimeter.
For simple fuses, you will need a multimeter and you can check them by making sure there is continuity between two metal points on both sides of the fuse. For this, you will not even need to take the fuse out of the box.
